A supplemental immunization program (SAP) called “Chikiting Ligtas 2023” is being implemented by the local Department of Health (DOH) in collaboration with the local government entities and partner stakeholders from May 2 to May 31.
In partnership and support with the local government, the Medical Center Paranaque, through its Department of Pediatrics, held this vaccination drive and has offered other FREE Routine and Catch-up vaccinations.
This campaign is a component of the Measles-Rubella and Bivalent Oral Poliovirus Vaccine Supplementary Immunization Activities (MR-BOPV SIA), which aims to speed up the process of catching up with the number of kids who either completely or partially missed their routine immunizations due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the protection of children against these preventable diseases.
